Terms of Service
Effective November 1, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Bible Trivia Fellowship (“we”, “us”) for using this website. By creating an account, joining a game, or subscribing, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
The service
Bible Trivia Fellowship lets groups host live Bible trivia games. A group has one owner and up to four invited administrators. Players join a game for free with a room code.
Accounts
You need an email address to create or help run a group. Keep access to your email secure, since sign-in links are sent there. You’re responsible for activity in your group, including who you invite as an administrator. You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian’s permission, to create a group or subscribe.
Subscriptions and billing
- Hosting games requires a subscription of $19 USD per month per group, unless we have given your group free access.
- Your subscription renews automatically each month, and your payment method is charged at the start of each billing period through Stripe.
- Cancel anytime. The group owner can cancel from the group’s Billing tab at any time, with no cancellation fee. You won’t be charged again, and your group keeps access until the end of the month you already paid for.
- Payments already made are not refunded for partial months, except where required by law or where we choose to issue a refund.
- If a payment fails, hosting may pause until the payment is resolved.
- If we change the price, we’ll email group owners at least 30 days before the new price applies. You can cancel before then.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit.
- Use display names or questions to target or demean other people.
- Try to break, overload, or get around the security of the service.
- Resell or share access to the service outside your group.
Your content
You own the custom questions and other content your group creates. You give us permission to store and display it so we can run the service for your group. Your custom questions are private to your group.
Question content
Questions are provided for learning and fellowship. We work to keep them accurate, but they may contain mistakes, and tradition-specific questions reflect the teaching they name rather than our endorsement. Always check important matters against scripture and your own teachers.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close a group, or cancel its subscription, if it breaks these terms, if there is fraud or a payment dispute, or to protect other users. If we cancel your subscription without cause, we’ll refund any unused portion of the month. You can stop using the service at any time.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We don’t promise it will always be available or free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make a significant change, we’ll notify group owners by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
